About Me
I'm Kristen Staniewicz, an experienced executive assistant, event planner, and operations professional with a passion for design and technology. Throughout my career, I have supported leadership teams and successfully organized large-scale events for organizations like The Colorado Women’s Bar Association, where I led the planning and execution of conferences with over 300 attendees. My ability to manage complex logistics, streamline processes, and collaborate with diverse stakeholders has allowed me to ensure seamless operations and deliver impactful experiences.
I’ve always found myself constantly inspired by the power of good UX/UI to transform how people interact with technology. In every organization I’ve worked, I end up picking up design work and really empathizing with our users. So recently I’ve decided to lean into this passion and strengthen my fundamentals by studying everything I can. Whether it's attending design workshops, participating in hackathons, or engaging in online communities, I'm committed to continuous growth. I’m knee deep in a Google Coursera UX Design Certification right now, but if you have any favorite books, tools or even Youtube rabbit holes that have shaped your journey in design - send them my way! I’ve tried a ton of tools but my some of my favorites right now are Lightroom for getting my photos dialed and Figma for distilling the experience cross platform and showing people around my designs - let me know if you have any other favorites right now.
Whether it's simplifying workflows, organizing cross-functional collaborations, or creating thoughtful design solutions, I thrive in fast-paced, dynamic environments where I can contribute to both operational excellence and creative innovation.
